Workshop on Empirical Macroeconomics

Ghent University is hosting its 8th Workshop on Empirical Macroeconomics on 28-29 May 2020 in the historical center of Ghent (Belgium).

The aim of this two-day workshop is to bring together researchers working on topics in empirical macroeconomics and macroeconometrics to present and discuss their ongoing research. More specifically, we invite contributions related to macroeconomic policy, business cycle analysis, economic growth, and macroeconometrics. Further information about the event and the programs of the workshop's previous editions can be found on the workshop website.

The workshop will start at 9:00 am on Thursday 28 May and will finish around 2:00 pm on Friday 29 May. A conference dinner is scheduled on Thursday. One hour of total time will be devoted per paper. A limited budget is available for the reimbursement of (economy class) traveling and hotel costs for academic participants. The request for reimbursement must be stated explicitly when submitting the paper.

The submission deadline is 9:00 pm CET on Friday 20 March 2020. Papers should be sent to empiricalmacro@ugent.be. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by 10 April 2020.
